Expertise

We're fully committed to creating positive environments and beautiful landscapes in which people want to live, relax, exercise and socialise.

Quality management principles underpin everything we do, from bespoke rolling maintenance programmes to our in-depth Written Statement of Services, detailing every aspect and feature of every development we manage.

We work with developers, planners, Residents' Associations and local communities to achieve results which protect and enhance the value of our green spaces.

Our in-house expertise covers a wide range of subjects and disciplines, supported by a network of specialised consultants and preferred suppliers, allowing us to bring a depth of professional understanding, knowledge and experience in all we do.

  • With specialist staff and consultants in horticulture, landscaping, ecology, arboriculture, forestry, health and safety, administration, finance, law, management, HR, IT, customer care and more, we're equipped for any situation and can rise to meet complex challenges head-on.
  • We're the proud recipient of Horticulture Week magazine's Best Parks and Tree Care Partnership 2019 award at their annual Custodian Awards, recognising our continuous long-term engagement and stewardship of the 213-hectare Glenrothes Woodlands, Fife, since January 2002.
  • Greenbelt enjoys a Primary Authority partnership with Trading Standards, allowing us to benefit from a robust professional framework offering support, guidance and advice on environmental health, trading standards and health and safety, applicable UK-wide.
  • We monitor each supplier and development closely through spot checks, regular inspections and internal monthly reports, tracking performance against a range of criteria to ensure our high standards of quality are always met.
  • Developed entirely in-house, our bespoke Real Time Reporting and Site Information System IT tools are always being reviewed, refined and upgraded to better support staff and promote a modern, connected culture of information sharing.
  • Our dedicated staff work closely with other professional bodies within the wider industry - from assisting Local Authorities and consultants with complex planning and landscaping issues to delivering guest lectures at the University of Sheffield and Landscape & Wellbeing International Conference in Lisbon.
