Get Active with Greenbelt

At Greenbelt, we manage the public open spaces on your development so that everyone can enjoy them. Providing open spaces that our residents’ children can use to stay active is a very important to us, and that’s why many of our developments feature equipped play areas.

We’re pleased to announce the completion of a set of three-quarter-sized goalposts on our Milton of Leys site in Inverness, which have been installed on the open space next to our existing play area.

Green Week 2016

The UK is rolling ever closer to the referendum on June 23, a vote that will decide whether we leave or remain in the European Union.

This means there has never been a better time to discuss, in a European context, the importance of investing for a greener future.

Cue the 2016 edition of Green Week, which takes places next week from Monday, May 30, to Friday, June 3.

The biggest annual occasion to debate and discuss European environment policy, this will provide a fantastic insight into what the EU does – and can do – regarding “green activity”.

Top tips for gardening in May


May Your Garden Blossom!

POP into your local garden centre this month and you'll encounter a festival of flowers. Bedding plants are now on sale and these colourful blooms are impossible to resist. Nothing brightens up a garden faster than pots and hanging baskets filled with tender plants, spilling over with flowers in every colour of the rainbow.

Blossom in April

In Japan they call it Hanami, the annual celebration of cherry blossom, and they've been marking it for more than 1000 years. There, friends and families gather together to have picnics beneath the trees, all the while marvelling at the candyfloss-laden branches that spread out overhead.

Welcome New Residents

We’re delighted to welcome yet more new residents into the Greenbelt family this month – and what a month it’s been! Following new billing in March, an amazing 917 new households joined us – which is more than we had taken on in January and February combined!
